There are many reasons as to how the dis-ease first manifested into the individual's body or what causes certain bodies to become dis-eased more than others. However the aim for optimum self help health is to improve and maintain your state of well-being by balancing out any defects within the body.

Eat Well

It is suggested that bad health can be derived from poor eating habits. There is no need to purchase foods from expensive health food stores if the right choices are made from your regular supermarket. Good Food and nutrition is indeed a major factor to improve and sustain good self help health.

Detoxify The Body 

Toxins enter the body by the food we eat (processed foods),food colorings, additives and preservatives, the water or alcohol we drink, medications we take, air we breathe (pollution,chemicals) and stimulants we use. Detoxification will cleanse the whole body and purify your senses to maintain an overall balanced state of well-being.

Exercise And Fitness

Your activity levels ensure the proper functioning of your organs and keep your heart in good condition. Exercising just 3 times a week for 15 minutes can significantly improve your fitness.

What is Self Help health?

Good health is described as having the ability to efficiently respond to challenges/stress and effectively restore and sustain a state of balance. This state of balance is what needs to be maintained to ensure you remain in an overall state of well-being thus ensuring self help health.

The direct consequences of a disharmony occurring within the healthy balanced state is dis-ease. The main cause of a disharmony occurring within the natural state of balance is excessive worry, stress and anxiety derived from negative thought processes.

Simply put, the way in which you think is causing all sorts of disruptions and disturbances in your body and mental state. Another way to make sense of this is to remember our body is energy and if the energy is disturbed in some way through negative thinking then it can cause blockages in the body energy disrupting the natural flow of it's energy and thus creating dis-ease as it's effect.

Most medical professions do not recognise this because it cannot be detected through x-rays or other equipment so it is deemed unexplainable. In Eastern countries extensive self help health research shows how the body becomes ill and what causes derived from negative thought patterns effect it's overall health and well being. This is why alternative treatment was introduced into the western world.

Alternative treatment is self help health defined. It should be made more widely aware as it combats the underlying causes of ill health by straightening out your mind, your body and in turn, straightening out your health. It is a preventative measure in and of itself.

Your Thoughts In Relation To Self Help Health

We become a brand new body every few years. Your body re-builds every element of itself and so every defect within the body should also be removed with this renewal process. If we keep experiencing the same defects that continue to enter our bodies then it is obviously the result of a weak mind and not a weak body. A strong mind can only sustain a strong body.

Do not focus on the things that you do not want instead start concentrating on what you DO want. Self help health is looking only towards achieving good health and not focusing on your dis-eases. If you have anxiety do not continue looking for solutions to treat this problem. Instead look into how you can gain confidence or learn to take control of your emotions.

Now that it has been suggested that our thoughts are determinants to self help health within the body and/or mind how exactly should we think? Or initially, how exactly should we NOT think? 

First things first, in order to know where to start, you really need to monitor your thoughts throughout your whole day. It may prove difficult at first but you will become adjusted over time. You need not change anything about your current thoughts during the first week but merely be aware of them and judge them.

Here is an example of how you would judge a thought. Consider yourself in a situation where you are running late for an appointment and you still have things that need to be done prior to leaving for your appointment. What is going through your mind? What is your internal dialogue? How are you reacting and behaving to the stress? Are you calm or anxious? Angry or controlled? Are you putting yourself down or reassuring yourself?

These are the exact thoughts for which you need to be making notes because it is only then that you can discover what harm you are causing internally. Every negative thought that crosses your mind needs to be immediately transmuted into it's positive equivalent. If you are panicked then reassure yourself everything is ok even if you miss that appointment. If you feel depressed about something listen to some music or think about anything that brings you joy.

Remaining in a state of constant joy is the best remedy for any dis-ease because your vibrations are so strong whilst in that state that more and more things will be attracted to you that bring you joy.

Do you find yourself constantly dwelling on your problems and feeling the need to talk to your family and friends about them? If so then you are going completely the wrong way about ridding them. Worrying, talking about and focusing on your problem will only fuel it's survival. When you do it with full emotion and put feeling into it then you are strengthening it's existence rather than weakening it.

If you find yourself praying for your problem to go away then you are only inviting that problem to stay. Simply wishing for it to go away will not remove it from your life because all your energy is going into focusing upon it. Learn how to effectively request for your wishes to be granted.

What you focus upon expands

By being consciously aware of every thought that crosses your mind you can then start to control each and everyone of them and go about improving upon them. You have to be extremely careful about how you are thinking and what you are saying to yourself as all is being impressed onto your unconscious mind.

The unconscious mind is the single most powerful possession you have and ever will have. Whatever the unconscious accepts is what will become your reality. If you suggest to your unconscious that you are in perfect health and it accepts then that is what it will present for you. If your unconscious believes that every organ within your body is in excellent 
working order then excellent working order will every organ experience.

The Universal Laws work Accordingly to Your Thoughts.

Remember your thoughts attract to you everything that is congruent with those thoughts. Thoughts produce feelings, feelings produce emotions, emotions are transmitted through your unconscious in forms of energy or vibrations out into the universe that picks up these waves and sends back to you the corresponding waves which is energy transmuted into your physical reality.

Like energy attracts like energy and the universe is always responding to the energy you are sending to it and it creates your reality accordingly. Perception = projection; you're outer world is a reflection of your inner world; however you are predominantly thinking will be presented forth to you as your reality!

Ill thinking is the direct cause of ill health.

How You Should Think In Terms Of Achieving Optimum Self Help Health.

Remembering who you are in relation to your Higher Self, your True Self or however you like to describe your spirit or soul, can really bring you to enter the realisation that we are all created equal and no matter what adversity you maybe experiencing at this moment you need to recognise that you truly are a perfect being and in good health in the true essence of your Spirit.

It is this spirit, your True Self, that is guiding your every move and forever wants you to claim your reality as it was meant to be - in perfect health. Never think that you are being punished and never use the conventional prayer for your problem to be solved by a deity named God (this is not self help health) because the universe does not recognise that you are at dis-ease, it will only grant to you that which you believe of yourself, that which you claim as your reality. If you say 'I have .... disease' then the universe will pick up those vibrations and grant you with what you have just claimed.

It's time to realise that you are fully capable of healing yourself, not the doctors or the surgeons but YOU. i.e. self help health. You were born with natural healing abilities and you have the power to access those abilities through knowing how to use your unconscious mind. The human body is designed to heal itself and it can only heal when fed the right thoughts. You are perfect in every sense from a spiritual aspect, it's how you were created and how you are intended to remain through your entire life span.

The faster you can grasp this concept the faster you will see results!

So now that you know you are perfect the next area at which people tend to fault is failing to accept themselves for how, what and who they are. In other words they try to hide, cover up and ignore the problem and pretend it is not there, this form of thought is also not self help health. This sends messages to your unconscious that you cannot accept how, what and who you are thus impressing a negative self-worth or image upon it.

A negative self-image is an unconscious blockage to achieving optimum health. Your unconscious will hold onto this belief and will do anything in it's power to keep you from change. It hates change and so it will keep you at dis-ease for as long as possible. Accepting yourself as the way you are, with full faith that you will overcome the dis-ease by knowing in your heart that you are already in perfectly good health in the true nature of your being sends positive energy to your unconscious and so that is exactly what it will produce for you.

Loving yourself is the single most important and essential prerequisite required to achieve success in any area of your life!

When you love yourself you are conditioning your unconscious to bring forth to you all those things you desire. Loving yourself will attract more things that you love, hating yourself will attract more things that you hate! 

Your unconscious will not allow you to become the person you want to be if you think that you are not worthy of happiness, do not deserve a good life or have any negative thought about yourself.

How you feel about yourself determines what outcome your reality will present to you, remembering that your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.

In other words - JUST LOVE YOURSELF!

You are perfect and an essential integral aspect of this universe.

Everything and everyone is connected and through this connection all things must expand and evolve to help the universe maintain it's flow of energy. The universe needs you to expand and evolve because it can only do that itself in and through you.

So claim your innate powers that you possess by rising above your adversity and treating it as a stepping stone for you to grow and develop into the person that you would not have become without having gone through it!
