Self-Help Explains
YOUR PURPOSE IN LIFE

It is said that we are born with a purpose in life. To accomplish a mission, to fulfil an assignment.

Life on this Earth is not about making ends meet and trying to make a living to survive until the next pay day.

If you follow any 100 people at the start of their careers for 40 years you will find only 5% of them will be successful in their lives and 95% will be unsuccessful.

Being successful means experiencing fulfilment in every area of your life. 95% of people resort to the life of mediocrity living a below average lifestyle and struggling to keep all members of the family happy.

Here is an example of the main life events of an average person:

Birth, 3 years of age- nursery, 11 years of age- school, 16 years of age - college, 18 years of age - university, 22 years of age - qualifications, 23 years of age - unemployment, 24 years of age - odd dead-end jobs, 25 years of age - marriage, 26 years of age - employment, 27 years of age children, 35 years of age divorce, 40 years of age - re-marriage, 50 years of age - more of the same employment, 63 years of age - retirement 70 years of age - council house, 75 years of age - suffer disease, 76 years of age - death.

Not a very attractive perspective to life really, is it? Yet it is the norm and most accept this life style as their destined reality. It most probably comes to no surprise to yourself as you have maybe experienced some of it already.

If you are truly happy with this kind of life then there is no need to read any further as this advice is only beneficial to those who want to make something of themselves and of their lives. Who want to truly find the meaning of their life, why they are here and what they need to do in order to succeed in their life through finding their ultimate purpose.

Indeed, it makes life so much more exciting and meaningful to know that you are born to fulfil a purpose. It just doesn't sit right feeling as if we are here for no reason whatsoever and merely lost in this world floating helplessly, being tossed and turned by society and their destructive way of thinking.

Conformity kills success.

Only extraordinary thinking people succeed. Everyone has the ability but it is the way in which you think that determines whether you take the risk of success or the security of mediocrity.

You need to take a risk and accept any opportunity that heightens the possibility of becoming successful if you are to have any chance of living the life for which you were born.

To find your true purpose in life you need to find your true passion. What drives you? What excites you? What unique talent do you possess? How can it be of service to others and to yourself?

These are the questions you should ask yourself to be on your path to purpose. Ask yourself! being the key to finding your answers as all the answers lie within you. You are in truth asking your True Self which knows all the answers to all your questions and which is connected to God.

This spiritual connection is what will provide the answers for you when you search within because that is how you claim your innate power to be your own. The moment you turn to an external means for resolution you have given up your inborn powers and thus will not receive what you seek.

Remember your present circumstances are only a result of what you have thought in the past and so, in turn, you can only create your future with the thoughts of today. With that in mind you must come into the realisation that you can create your own future and so are creating your future with every thought of this moment, the now.

Finding your purpose is all about using your imagination to allow whatever natural mental image that emerges from the screen of your mind to flourish your entire being until you are actually experiencing it as if it has entered your life and become your physical reality. The key here is not to force or manufacture any false feeling or emotions to manifest a thought of pure greed and materialisitic means to satisfy the needs of the ego undermining the nature of your True Self.

Forcing visualisations will not only keep you from attracting that which you desire but will, more often than not, attract that which you do not want! So be careful when utilising the power of your unconscious for if used in the wrong way can be detrimental to you and your desires.

Your imagination comes from the unconscious part of your brain and that is where you can envision what your life has in store for you. However it is extremely important to take into account that your vision should only be of something which would be of service to others and to yourself for reasons already explained.

It is your intuition that you should follow, the part of you which has no agenda but acts out of pure unconditional love for itself, which is you. Your intuition is what will draw inspiration from within you to allow your passions and in turn, your purpose to surface. You will know exactly what it is when you find it because it will give you the sense of blissful satisfaction when you see it. So think how you will feel when you actually are fulfilling it in your up coming reality!
